John Rusk
President and Founder of Rusk Renovations
John Rusk is closely involved with every Rusk Renovations project and takes great pleasure working with some of the industry’s most talented architects and designers to create beautiful homes for interesting people. The author of On Time and On Budget (Doubleday, 1996), Rusk also teaches Residential Project Management at the graduate level at Columbia University. In addition he speaks to groups of real estate professionals, architects and designers on the topics of minimizing risk for residential construction.
With John's broad scope of experience comes the ability to serve as an expert resource and client advocate, evaluating options and alternatives that can best serve the needs of the client. He starts each project by immersing himself in a preconstruction process to discover and find solutions to the most difficult details of the project, including mechanical and protocol. At the end of the project, he can often be found on site shoulder to shoulder with the crew to celebrate the completion of a unique and successful work.
